Frequently asked questions

How do I make UNJURY® Savory Protein Soups?

For all soup flavors, mix powder into 8 ounces of water heated to 140º F, not hotter.  Use part milk for creamy soup.

Do not use in liquids hotter than 140º F. Texture will be affected, just as a raw egg changes texture when you scramble it.  If you add UNJURY® to a hot liquid, the protein will clump if it’s too hot.  Try using food thermometer at first.  A good rule of thumb is about 1 minute in the microwave.  Always heat your water first, then add the soup mix.

Why is protein important for recovery?

It’s common for patients to lose lean body mass during rapid weight loss and illness. The medical quality protein in UNJURY® is idea for recovery, and rebuilding…which in turn supports energy and quality of life.

High-Quality Protein + Exercise is the best way to maintain and build muscle for better immune and metabolic health.

Higher protein intake is recommended following rapid weight loss, for those recovering from illness or for anyone who needs to rebuild muscle.

Medical research says that people over the age of 40 need 30-30-30, 30 grams of protein 3 times each day – three servings of 30 grams of protein spread out evenly throughout the day. That should include at least 2.5 grams of leucine, an important amino acid - building block for muscle.

The protein in UNJURY® can’t be beat for leucine.
